Under the leadership of Artistic Director Leonardo Suarez-Paz, a Latin GRAMMY-nominated artist mentored by Astor Piazzolla, the organization inspires global unity through art and culture.Role DescriptionWe are seeking a Grants Specialist/Consultant located in the New York City Metropolitan Area with experience in the performing arts field to evaluate our current situation and create a new grant strategy. We are not currently hiring an employee but will be looking for part-time assistants to help with grant research, writing and reporting in collaboration with artistic directors. QualificationsKnowledge of NYC, NYS and Federal grants process Experience specific to the performing arts fieldFamiliarity with arts, culture, or nonprofit funding is a plusFundraising background is a plusStrong analytical skills and experience with budgetingProven expertise in grant and proposal writingExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsProficient research abilities to identify and assess grant opportunitiesAttention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines in a dynamic environmentBachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience preferred
