Mobile / Fill-In Optician

Mobile Optometry Technications OnSight Eyes has an immediate opening for a fill-in optician. We're searching for skilled opticians and enthusiastic part-time contractors to help us provide on-site eyecare in a mobile pop-up setting. Mobile Opticians: OnSight Eyes is seeking opticians to contract with us at our pop-up clinics. What you'll do: The ideal candidate holds a professional demeanor and can range from anyone new or experienced within the optical industry. A background of basic optical principles is required with measurement, product knowledge, and frame fitting abilities. Who you are: An optician/technician with a background of basic optical principles and dispensing Experience working with vision insurance A clear, effective, and professional communicator Dedicated to going above and beyond to make customers happy An energetic, positive team player What we’re looking for: 1+ years’ experience dispensing corrective lenses Experience with both contact lenses and glasses Being willing to travel to multiple locations in and around MD (part-time) Excellent customer service Detail-oriented Excellent organizational and communication skills Job Types: Part-time, Contract Pay: $300.00 per day Schedule: 8 hour shift Education: High school or equivalent (Preferred) Experience: Optical: 1 year (Required) Willingness to travel: 75% (Preferred) Work Location: In person
