Help us shorten the time it takes to get critical tools developed and into the hands of warfighters who need them and to quickly aid the people who need it.\r\nAs a Senior Cloud Engineer you will be responsible to define the implementation approaches and plans to ensure optimum cloud performance and reliability across the servers, networks, and related utilities and hardware that comprise the cloud infrastructure. They conduct analysis and make reliable engineering recommendations to ensure six sigma reliability/resiliency of the cloud infrastructure. They monitor and report on cloud utilization and plan continuous process improvement.\r\nDuties Include\r\nSupports applying a systematic, engineering approach to the design, architecting, requirements elicitation, development, operation and use of cloud technologies and platforms for mission solutions.\r\nLeverages software, platform and infrastructure-as-a-service to deliver GEOINT solutions.\r\nEnsures optimum efficiencies for the utilization of cloud services.\r\nQualifications\r\nActive TS/SCI Security Clearance with CI Poly\r\nSTEM degree or higher in Systems Engineering or in related technical or scientific fields such as Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, Operations Research, Engineering Management, Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or related STEM degree program, or related equivalent additional experience.\r\nSenior-level or higher experience in working government or industry leading or supporting cloud-based systems engineering efforts.\r\nOne or more Cloud Certifications, but are not limited to the following:\r\nAWS Certified Cisco Certified Networking\r\nAdministrator – Cloud Cisco Certified Network\r\nProfessional – Cloud IBM Certified Cloud Solution\r\nArchitect MCSE Cloud Platform and Infrastructure\r\nVMware Certified Professional (VCP7-CMA)\r\nDesired Skills\r\nMaster's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Engineering Management, Management Information Systems, or related STEM degree program.\r\nCitrix XenApp expertise or certification\r\nExperience in Scripting/automation via PowerShell, VBscript, AutoIT or similar.\r\nSAN storage infrastructure experience (EMC in particular).
