CNC Lead Machinist

Pay: $25 - $35 per hour Hours: 5:50am - 2:20pm Overview We are looking for a skilled CNC Lead Machinist to join our team on first shift. In this role, you’ll be hands-on with machine setup while also leading a small team of operators (5–8 people). If you’re someone who enjoys problem-solving, working with precision parts, and helping a team succeed — this is a great opportunity. What You’ll Do Lead and support a team of 5–8 CNC machine operators Set up and run CNC single spindle machines Troubleshoot machine issues and keep production running smoothly Read blueprints and ensure parts meet specs Perform quality checks using measuring tools Monitor machine performance (speed, feed, efficiency) Complete basic production paperwork Train team members as needed Help maintain a safe and organized work environment Coordinate overtime and coverage when needed What We’re Looking For 3+ years of CNC setup and machining experience Leadership or lead experience is a plus Ability to read blueprints Basic knowledge of G-code Experience with measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.) Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills Good communication and teamwork Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Health insurance Paid time off Professional development assistance Retirement plan Vision insurance Application Question(s): What's the best number and time to reach you at?
