{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"d51fc276ebf543fc7559df34","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/d51fc276ebf543fc7559df34","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/d51fc276ebf543fc7559df34","title":"RF Engineer","description":"Primary Location:\n\nElkridge, MD Headquarters with Mid-Atlantic focus.\n\nThe In-Building DAS RF Engineer will be responsible for RF surveys and requirements collections, RF designs, RF propagation modeling, selection of the most appropriate DAS solution and components, installation project management and technical oversight, integration of DAS solutions into the macro network, data collection, troubleshooting, and ongoing support.\n\nBasic Qualifications:\n\n3+ years of In-building Distributed Antenna Systems design, integration, and optimization experience is required.\n\nExperience working with large wireless service providers and enterprise customers is required.\n\nFundamental understanding of the physics behind RF wave propagation theory is required.\n\nAbility to perform power link budget calculations and compare different product via their technical specifications is required.\n\nAbility to use PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Visio, and Outlook required.\n\nExcellent oral and written communication skills required.\n\nAbility to travel frequently in the mid-Atlantic region required.\n\nExperience with iBwave required.\n\nBachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering is required.\n\nKnowledge of propagation modeling and tools is preferred.\n\nExperience with multi-carrier DAS solutions preferred.\n\nExperience with iBwave Propagation and Optimizations Modules preferred.\n\nCertifications from iBwave preferred.\n\nTraining/certification for technologies including CDMA, TDMA, GSM, iDEN, EvDo, UMTS, and LTE is a bonus.\n\nTraining certifications from ADRF, Axell, CommScope, Corning, SOLiD, Tyco/TE Connectivity or similar products is a bonus.\n\nClearance/Pre-employment Screen:\n\nNo clearance required.\n\nThis position requires a background check, driving record check, drug test, and/or any other pre-employment test that the company requires.\n\nInterested in this position?
