You’ll also play a key role in guiding a small team while contributing to modern, AI-enabled solutions.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance Java-based applicationsBuild and evolve microservices architectures using Spring Boot and related frameworksIntegrate AI/ML and Generative AI capabilities (e.g., Azure AI services, LLM APIs) into applicationsDevelop intelligent features such as chatbots, recommendation engines, and workflow automationDeploy and manage applications within Azure cloud environmentsProvide technical leadership, mentorship, and support to junior developers or small teamsConduct code reviews and enforce best practices in coding, security, and performanceCollaborate cross-functionally with Product, QA, and DevOps to deliver end-to-end solutionsTroubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance and AI integrationsContribute to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps processesStay current with emerging trends in AI, cloud, and backend engineeringRequired Skills & ExperienceBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field5+ years of hands-on experience in Java developmentStrong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and microservices architectureExperience with Microsoft Azure (App Services, Azure Functions, AKS, Azure DevOps)Hands-on experience integrating AI/ML solutions (REST APIs, LLMs, Azure AI services)Experience building and consuming RESTful APIsProven ability to mentor developers or lead modules/projectsStrong understanding of distributed systems and cloud-native designExperience with relational and/or NoSQL databasesFamiliarity with Git and modern version control practicesPreferred QualificationsExperience with Generative AI use cases in production environmentsAzure certifications or other relevant cloud certificationsExposure to DevOps tooling and infrastructure-as-code practicesWhy Turnbridge?
