Clinical Project Manager, Clinical OperationsA rapidly growing, boutique Contract Research Organization (CRO) is seeking an experienced Clinical Project Manager with post‑operative pain experience to support and lead clinical programs across chronic and acute pain as well as psychiatric indications. This is an exciting opportunity to join a nimble, high‑growth organization where project managers have meaningful ownership, strong sponsor exposure, and the opportunity to grow alongside the company.The Clinical Project Manager will support and lead cross‑functional clinical trial execution across Phase I-III studies, serving as a primary point of contact for sponsors while helping to ensure timelines, quality, and budgetary objectives are met.Key ResponsibilitiesManage day‑to‑day project activities for clinical trials across Phase I-III, supporting on‑time, on‑budget, and high‑quality deliveryServe as a key liaison between sponsors, internal teams, and external vendorsAssist in the development and maintenance of project plans, timelines, risk mitigation strategies, and budgetsCoordinate cross‑functional teams including Clinical Operations, Data Management, Biostatistics, Regulatory, and Medical AffairsIdentify project risks and support implementation of mitigation strategiesProvide regular project updates, status reports, and communications to sponsors and internal stakeholdersContribute to process improvement initiatives within a growing CRO environmentCollaborate closely with more experienced project leaders while continuing to build project management expertiseRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree in life sciences or a related field (advanced degree preferred)4+ years of clinical project management experience within a CRO environmentExperience supporting or managing Phase I-III clinical trialsBackground in pain (chronic and/or acute) and/or psychiatric indications strongly preferredAbility to manage multiple studies or workstreams concurrentlyStrong communication, organizational, and stakeholder‑management skillsComfortable operating in a fast‑paced, high‑growth environmentWhy This RoleOpportunity to join a smaller, rapidly growing CRO with clear opportunities for professional growthDirect exposure to sponsors and cross‑functional clinical teamsBroad experience across therapeutic areas and development phasesCollaborative culture with visibility into leadership and organizational decision‑makingAdditional InformationThis role offers a competitive compensation package and benefits, along with the opportunity to work in a collaborative, growth‑oriented environment that values accountability, transparency, and quality execution.The organization is proud to be an equal opportunity employer and is committed to building a diverse and inclusive workplace.
