Build the culture.Our client, a well-established precast concrete manufacturer with a strong national footprint in drainage and water management products, is hiring a Plant Manager to lead its Clanton, Alabama facility. This is a full P&L role reporting into senior divisional leadership — you'll own safety, production, quality, throughput, and people, with real authority to shape how the plant runs.It's a great fit for an operations leader who likes being on the floor, knows how to develop a team, and wants the autonomy to drive results without layers of corporate friction.What you'll ownDay-to-day plant operations: production, quality, maintenance, shipping, inventoryA zero-incident safety culture and full OSHA / environmental complianceFull plant P&L — budgets, cost control, operational KPIsA team of supervisors, production staff, and support personnel — coaching, accountability, successionCapacity planning and new product launches in partnership with sales and engineeringContinuous improvement initiatives (lean, 5S, standard work) and long-term asset healthWhat you'll bring7+ years of progressive manufacturing leadership, with 3+ years as a Plant Manager, Operations Manager, or equivalentDirect experience in precast concrete or precast drainage products.A track record of P&L ownership and delivering on safety, quality, and productivity targetsStrong people leadership in a blue-collar environment (union or non-union)Working knowledge of lean and modern production systemsBachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations, Business, or related field — or the equivalent earned on the floorWhat's on the tableCompetitive base + annual bonusRelocation assistance for the right candidateDay-1 medical / dental / vision and Day-1 PTO4.5% 401(k) matchEmployee Stock Purchase PlanAnnual lifestyle benefitCompany-paid life and disabilityOn-site full-time in Clanton, AL.
