They may also be responsible for driving the Company truck for building to building transfers as well as local deliveries and pick-ups.\nQualifications\nDedication to excellence and a quality output\nHigh school diploma or the equivalent\nValid Michigan Chauffeurs License (or valid Driver License with the ability to obtain)\nAbility to read blueprints, lists of material and routers\nGeneral Math Skills\nAbility to operate basic manufacturing equipment and tools\nExperience: one-year minimum experience in a manufacturing environment\nResponsibilities:\nPromote excellence throughout the department\nMaintain a clean, safe work area and conduct themselves in a safe manner\nMoving stock throughout the plant\nOperate basic manufacturing tools\nAssisting in moving of large equipment\nMaintenance of consumable inventory levels for Manufacturing floor\nProvide timely consumable products to the Manufacturing floor throughout the day\nResponsible for tagging and placing of materials and parts in proper locations\nExcellent communication with a variety of manufacturing personnel\nWork independently with only simple verbal instructions\nTransferring parts and materials from building to building, local deliveries and pick-ups\nWork in other areas of the operation as directed by supervision\nPhysical Requirements\nWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling and climbing all day. The employee must frequently lift and/or move items over 50 pounds.
