Accounts Payable Supervisor

At GA Telesis, the company’s core business is integrated aviation solutions, and our mission is customer success.Within the Finance Department at GA Telesis, the Accounting Team is seeking an Accounts Payable Supervisor tojoin our accounting team. Reporting to the Controller and Assistant Controller the ideal candidate is an experienced accounting specialist with a strong work ethic and a highly creative, energetic professionalthat thrives in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.Responsibilities:Oversee accounts payable process. Manage vendor relationships and resolve any discrepancies or disputes, ensuring timely and accurate communication with vendors regarding payments and account statuses.Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy within the accounts payable function.Supervise and mentor the accounts payable administrators along with providing guidance and support to ensure high performance and professional development.Collaborate with accounting team on various accounts payable data projects.Requirements:Bachelors degree in finance, accounting or business preferred.Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounts payable, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role. Aviation experience is a plus. Must have experience with large invoice volume and processing payments through ACH and wires.Experience with large ERP systems Excellent communication and time management skillsMust be able to work efficiently to meet department deadlines.
