To achieve this, Peraton will provide professional services to integrate and enable the consumption of a combination of software applications/databases, compute, storage, and data protection elements from various sources, including Cloud Service Providers (CSPs), Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS), Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS), Software-as-a-Service (SaaS), Anything-as-a-Service (XaaS), etc.\n\nDuties may include:\n\nDesigns, develops, builds, analyzes, evaluates and installs database management systems to include database modeling and design, relational database architecture, metadata and repository creation and configuration management.\nUses data mapping, data mining and data transformational analysis tools to design and develop databases.\nDetermines data storage and optimum storage requirements.\nPrepares system requirements, source analysis and process analyses and design throughout the database implementation.\nEvaluates, sizes and selects technology components, such as software, hardware, and networking capabilities, for database management systems and application databases.\nWrites and tunes database queries and scripts for performance and scalability.\nImplements comprehensive backup and database replication solutions.\n*Contingent on Contract Award*\n\nQualifications\n\nBasic Qualifications:\n\n5 years with Bachelor's Degree; 3 years with Master's degree; 0 years with PhD. Four years of relevant experience will be considered in lieu of a Bachelor's degree.\nUS Citizenship requires\n\nMust have the ability to obtain a DHS Entrance on Duty (EOD) clearance (i.e. CBP Full BI)\nExperience with databases\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\n\nOne or more Cloud Certifications preferred (i.e. Microsoft, Google, AWS, etc).\nProfessional Data Engineer\nBenefits:\n\nAt Peraton, our benefits are designed to help keep you at your best beyond the work you do with us daily.
