This role plays a critical part in inspection, validation, documentation, and continuous improvement activities to maintain compliance with AS9100 standards and customer specifications. TE Connectivity's Quality Control and Reliability Teams ensure product and/or product components comply with specifications and quality standards. They test and inspect products against performance and integrity criteria to ensure product quality and reliability, and to determine the suitability of product release. This is a 3rd shift role with a schedule of Monday through Friday, 8:30pm to 6:00am.\n\nResponsibilities:\n\nInspect, test, and evaluate electrical component, coils, raw materials, purchased or fabricated parts, assemblies, spare parts, and completed units.\nAnalyze assembly problems, perform audits of product and processes in any area of manufacturing. In case of discrepancies may stop production; but must inform supervisor immediately.\nMust execute necessary paperwork pertaining to job such as inspections reports, audits, ATP’s, FAI’s etc. May require recording dimensions and electrical parameters for various products, reports, etc\nMust successfully complete on the job training on applicable operating and process procedures per OP-1706.\nReceive and check purchased materials, supplies and manufactured items.\nMust be able to read blueprints and utilize a wide variety of measurement instruments to check parts to verify compliance to quality specifications.\nMaybe required to operate ESS equipment when required.\nBe able to operate in a team environment with work sharing, team problem solving, and team acceptance of responsibility.\nTrain other employees as needed.\nWhen performing final inspection: Detail inspect and test end items for electrical and mechanical requirements to Hartman and/or customer drawings and specifications.\nPrepare necessary paperwork for shipments and deliveries and maintain schedules for same.
