Opportunity: RN - MICUJob Details: • Work 3x12 hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM • Every other weekend coverage required, may change based on need • Patient ratios of 1:1-2 for days, nights, and weekends • Floating required to like units at facility or other facilities in the area when census is low • Must have minimum 2 years of experience in MICU field • Must have at least 1 year of EPIC EMR experience • Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, and SC RN license • Care for adult and geriatric patients with various diagnoses including COVID ICU cases • Skills required: care of ventilated patients, continuous IV sedation, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias • Daily census of 7 patients in 11-bed unit • Pre-assignment testing and modules required within 48 hours of receiving login information • Orientation occurs every Monday • Flu vaccine required with no exemptions • One pre-approved time off request allowed per contract • Must be over 100 miles from every facility in the system to be eligible for full rateFacility: This healthcare facility operates a specialized Medical Intensive Care Unit providing critical care services to adult and geriatric patients.
