For more information, please contact Prof. Hengyong Yu hengyong_yu@uml.edu.\nMinimum Qualifications (Required):\nPhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field.\nDoctoral degree obtained from a qualified university in the field of study with good track record of research and publications.\nBackground of medical imaging and machine learning in algorithm development/implementation.\n\nAdditional Considerations:\nMinimum number of 3 peer-reviewed journal publications in the field\nAbility to work independently, with limited direction, as well as within a team environment\nAbility to mentor and inspire students with limited research experience.\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\nExperiences of algorithm development in computed tomography\n\nSpecial Instructions to Applicants:\nOnly current UML Employees within the Grants & Contracts (MTA/GRACE) bargaining unit will be considered during the first 10 business days of the posting. All other candidates will be considered after that period.\nThis position is full-time, benefited and in the Grace union -grade PD. Anticipated salary based on range minimum: $50,000, 25th quartile: $56,500 and midpoint of $63,000.\nThis position is contingent upon funding.
