ASR Group® companies also produce and market Tellus®, a single-use, compostable tableware and foodservice product made from plant fibers, including sugarcane.\nOVERVIEW The Bulk Loading Supervisor is responsible for assisting in the oversight of all Bulk activities including, loading and shipping of product by rail car, customer relations and directing employees.\nDETAILED ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES Assuring the proper loading and unloading of rail cars in an efficient manner, as well as effective operations of the Finishing department.\nTracking product inventory to ensure appropriate availability and make sure items are delivered to or from as expected.\nInterface with the customer in a professional manner to solve problems and answer questions.\nMaintain and coordinate documentation and certifications.\nEnsures area is audit ready at all times.\nThe ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of experience working in a bulk loading department in a manufacturing setting with supervisory experience or equivalent military experience.\nEDUCATION REQUIREMENTS High school diploma or equivalent.\nAssociate's Degree or equivalent from an accredited technical school, college, or university is preferred.\nSUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY Directly supervise and coordinate the day to day duties for union employees.\nEnsure Labor Contract is followed by all employees, and reports any potential violation.\nInitiate disciplinary measures according to the Labor Contract.\nReview hourly employees’ performance and identify training needs\nReview daily reports with staff\nKnowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices\nExperience supervising union personnel\nMust have the ability to recognize different grades of sugar\nMust be able to lift up to 50 lbs., stand, walk, stoop, bend, reach, and climb as needed\nMust have mechanical aptitude\nKnowledge of conveyor, elevator, vibrating screen, weight scale, etc. equipment.\nLOCATION OF ROLE We are an equal opportunity employer.
