Remote Regional Sales Manager – Passages of DistinctionPassages of Distinction is a boutique, North American-based sales & marketing company representing a curated collection of international luxury boutique hotels, resorts, villas and DMCs. The Sales Manager drives awareness, strengthens existing and brings relationships and leads from key accounts, serving as a key link between our travel Collection partners and the luxury travel advisor community. Key ResponsibilitiesBuild and manage relationships with luxury travel advisors, agencies and consortia Execute strategic sales outreach including calls, remote and in-person meetings and events Work with marketing on monthly partner reports, newsletter and email campaigns to our advisor and agency database, ensuring our supplier partners remain “front of mind”Drive revenue to partner properties through targeted key account development Represent the Collection at trade shows, networking events and client functions Communicate each partner’s unique positioning and offerings effectively Identify high-potential accounts and grow engagement within the database Provide market feedback and insights to partners and internal team Maintain CRM records and report on activity and performance Qualifications3+ years minimum experience representing and selling multiple hotels and/or destinations, or related travel industry sales experience that provides insight into the travel supplier + travel advisor relationships, exposure and productivity Strong advisor relationships on the West Coast and/or elsewhere preferred Excellent communication, presentation and relationship-building skills Highly organized, self-motivated and results-driven Solid understanding of the luxury travel landscape requiredInternational travel experience required Some event and marketing experience a plusRemotely based in or near Los Angeles preferred; Otherwise located in a major city in a key market. Travel RequirementApproximately 20% travel, including trade shows, domestic sales calls, partner roadshows, events, and hosting international familiarization trips What Success Looks Like Increased advisor engagement and partner visibility Strong relationship building and fostering with Collection partnersRevenue growth across the Collection Strong, consistent presence within the luxury travel communityWorking independently and remotely and in a fast-paced role, while communicating well and collaborating with a small but nimble team Assisting in streamlining our internal and client-facing SOPs and workflows through solid record-keeping in our CRM and systemsCompensation$75-90,000 dependent on experience. Potential for bonus for booking groups or very high revenue bookings as well as developing new hotel or DMC partner leads.
