The ideal candidate will bring a strong technical foundation and extensive experience in IT project management, particularly within infrastructure-focused environments.\n\n*Job Functions & Responsibilities*\n\n* Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of infrastructure projects, ensuring completion within established timelines, budgets, and quality standards.\n* Develop and manage project budgets, carefully tracking expenditures to maintain cost efficiency and financial accountability.\n* Partner with cross-functional teams to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and strategic initiatives.\n* Create comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets, identifying required resources, milestones, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor progress and measure success.\n* Proactively identify risks, issues, and dependencies, and develop mitigation strategies to minimize their impact on project timelines and deliverables.\n* Communicate project status, risks, challenges, and achievements to stakeholders through regular updates and project reviews.\n* Establish and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including vendors, contractors, and technical teams, fostering effective communication and collaboration throughout the project lifecycle.\n* Maintain ongoing stakeholder engagement by providing transparent updates, gathering feedback, and effectively managing expectations.\n* Ensure adherence to established IT governance frameworks and collaborate with project teams to meet governance requirements in a timely manner.\n\n*Skills*\n\n* Minimum of 6 years of IT project management experience, with a strong focus on infrastructure projects.\n* Strong technical background and knowledge of infrastructure technologies, including network infrastructure, servers, storage, virtualization, cloud services, and security.\n* Proven success in delivering complex infrastructure projects on time and within budget.\n* Demonstrated expertise in infrastructure design and planning, server and operating system management, network infrastructure and protocols, network virtualization, storage systems, cloud infrastructure, network security, monitoring and performance optimization, and vendor management.\n* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.\n* Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities, with the ability to evaluate complex situations, identify solutions, and drive successful outcomes.\n* Experience with project management methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall, as well as project management tools such as Microsoft Project and Azure DevOps.\n* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple projects simultaneously.\n* Thorough understanding of project management phases, techniques, and tools, including:\n* Initiation\n* Planning (scope definition and requirements gathering)\n* Execution and Control (scope management, work plans, resource allocation, deliverables, quality assurance, transition planning, etc.)\n* Closure (project completion and assessment)\n* Strong, proven project management skills, including:\n* Customer satisfaction management\n* Sponsor expectation management\n* Vendor and consultant management\n* Risk management and issue resolution\n* Financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting\n* Change management\n* Ability to work cross-functionally to solve problems, implement changes, evaluate decisions in support of broader strategic objectives, and collaborate with senior leadership to resolve complex challenges.\n* Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and other project life cycles related to the deployment of infrastructure, networking, and other non-software initiatives.\n\n*Education & Certifications*\n\n* Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.\n* Project Management certification (e.g., PMP) preferred.\n* Additional certifications that may be valuable for infrastructure project management include:\n* ITIL\n* CompTIA Network+\n* Cisco Certifications\n* AWS Certifications\n\nJob Type: Contract\n\nPay: $50.00 -
