If you have a passion for learning and are looking to grow your career with a family-owned company, we want to hear from you!\nThis position is designed and intended to be performed in Washington, IN.\nPRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:\nPerforming and coordinating permitting, monitoring, testing, and reporting of air emissions, water discharges, and waste disposal at a corn wet milling facility in Washington, IN.\nSupport the development, implementation, and maintenance of site environmental programs.\nMaintain and update environmental programs, including: Spill Prevention and Countermeasure (SPPC) plan, Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP), Toxic Release Inventory (TRI), Greenhouse Gas (GHG) emissions, Tier II reporting (SARA311/312), and Continuous Emission Monitoring (CEMS) of the Washington facility.\nCollaborate with departments to ensure environmental compliance, acting as a resource for division and department management.\nObtain new/modified permits as needed and renew existing permits as required by law. Assist with the management of the on-site wastewater treatment plant.\nEDUCATION\nBachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, or equivalent experience.\nEXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS:\n2 or more years of experience in environmental engineering or environmentally oriented positions.\nKnowledgeable of federal and state regulations that affect air, water, stormwater, and waste issues.\nBasic Computer Skills Required: Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint\nExperience in an industrial setting is preferred but not required.\nKnowledge of the operation of anaerobic and aerobic wastewater systems is a plus but not required.\nExperience with providing guidance or direction to others, and previous experience in an environmental management role is a plus, but not required.\nTRAVEL\nOccasionally for training.\nEqual Opportunity Employer\nThis employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
