This is an opportunity to work with a highly respected organization that invests in its employees through outstanding benefits, stock ownership opportunities, ongoing training, and long-term career development.\r\nIf you have a strong background in building automation systems, controls programming, commissioning, and troubleshooting, we want to hear from you.\r\nKey Responsibilities\r\nInstall, program, test, calibrate, commission, and repair building automation and control systems.\r\nTroubleshoot advanced control systems, low-voltage devices, and network communications.\r\nConfigure field devices and ensure proper system functionality.\r\nConduct functional testing and provide detailed reports to commissioning agents.\r\nAnalyze system performance data and resolve programming or operational deficiencies.\r\nCreate and modify graphics, databases, sequences, and control programming.\r\nBuild and troubleshoot control panels and related hardware.\r\nReview and redline control drawings, submittals, and installation documentation.\r\nConfigure and troubleshoot BACnet MSTP, BACnet/IP, Modbus, LonWorks, and related protocols.\r\nCoordinate with customer IT departments and project stakeholders.\r\nManage punch-list completion and support project closeout activities.\r\nIdentify potential change orders and communicate findings to project management.\r\nTrain end users on system operation and functionality.\r\nProvide leadership, guidance, and mentoring to junior technicians.\r\nCoordinate subcontractors and ensure proper installation practices.\r\nMaintain company tools, vehicles, and inventory.\r\nFollow all company safety procedures, including Arc Flash, Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), and Confined Space requirements.\r\nQualifications\r\nRequired\r\nHigh School Diploma or GED\r\nMinimum 5 years of Controls Technician experience\r\nStrong HVAC systems knowledge, including:\r\nAir Handling Units (AHUs)\r\nVariable Air Volume (VAV) Systems\r\nFan-Powered Boxes\r\nRooftop Units (RTUs)\r\nExperience troubleshooting low-voltage control systems\r\nStrong understanding of AC and DC electrical circuits\r\nAbility to read and interpret\r\nBlueprints\r\nWiring diagrams\r\nDevice data sheets\r\nExperience utilizing testing and metering equipment\r\nProficiency with Microsoft Windows-based software\r\nStrong communication and customer service skills\r\nPreferred Certifications & Experience\r\nTridium AX/N4 Certification\r\nExperience with\r\nDistech\r\nSiemens\r\nSchneider Electric\r\nJCI\r\nINET\r\nAdvanced programming and troubleshooting capabilities\r\nExperience with access control and lighting control systems\r\nWhat You'll Receive\r\nHighly competitive compensation\r\nEmployee Stock Ownership opportunities\r\nAffordable family medical benefits\r\n401(k) retirement plan\r\nOngoing technical training and professional development\r\nAdvancement opportunities within a growing organization\r\nStable backlog of projects and long-term career security\r\nInterviews are actively being scheduled.\r\nConfidential inquiries are encouraged.
