Florida licensed Pharmacist - Non-Sterile Compounding

Job Summary Growing, high volume, independent compounding pharmacy located in Northern Pinellas County is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Compounding Pharmacist to oversee and help support our Non-Sterile compounding operations. This role includes ensuring compliance with USP and USP standards and oversight of quality control processes. This is a full time position, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 5:30pm. We are closed on weekends and major holidays. The ideal candidate will have experience in non-sterile compounding and an active Florida Pharmacist license as well as strong attention to detail, a commitment to quality and safety, and is a team player with a collaborative approach to pharmacy services. We are seeking a candidate who will be an integral part of the non-sterile team, capable of leading and teaching technicians in a positive and professional manner. Responsibilities Assure pharmacy compliance with rules and regulations of the Florida Board of Pharmacy and other regulatory agencies. Review orders and prescriptions for mixing and dispensing. Supervise pharmacy technicians, reviewing their work for accuracy while ensuring compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) Overseeing daily non-sterile pharmacy operations Ensuring policies and procedures are strictly enforced Providing excellent customer service and counseling to patients as needed Qualifications Must have a current State of Florida Pharmacist license in good standing Experience and knowledge of USP and USP Must be able to fluently communicate in English both written and orally Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Exhibit punctuality and low absenteeism Able to stand for up to eight hours and lift up to 40 pounds Must complete background check and drug screening Pay: $53.00 - $62.00 per hour Benefits: Health insurance Paid time off Work Location: In person
