Load correct packaging materials, perform quality checks, and maintain accurate documentation. Execute product changeovers, sanitation tasks, and troubleshoot issues to ensure smooth production flow. Maintain a clean, organized workspace while meeting throughput goals and complying with company and regulatory requirements. This position is responsible for learning and operating 1-3 filler machines.Job Duties And ResponsibilitiesClean, set up, operate, and monitor filler equipment to achieve safe and efficient productionLoad and verify correct packaging materials for each product runSet machine speeds and adjust filler timing, fill volume, and other parameters using HMI control panels to maintain product specificationsMonitor weights, seals, caps, and packaging integrity throughout production, including verifying heat seal systems and checking seals on conveyor lines as neededPerform quality checks and collect samples for testing to confirm compliance with standardsDiagnose and troubleshoot machine performance issues, perform basic repairs, and escalate to team lead or maintenance when necessarySort and rework rejected cups to reclaim product when necessaryComplete accurate documentation of production processes, quality checks, and shift handoffsExecute product changeovers and sanitation tasks, including disassembly, cleaning, sanitizing, and reassembly of equipment; run CIP (Clean in Place) processes following SSOPsMaintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety, quality, and efficiencyCommunicate effectively with supervisors, production leads, and quality assurance regarding production or packaging issuesComply with all safety protocols and proactively identify and report unsafe conditions to maintain a safe working environmentFollow GMP standards and actively contribute to food safety, product legality, and quality; promptly report any concerns to managementAssist in other areas of production as directed by supervisorThe requirements herein are intended to describe the general nature and level of work performed by employee, but is not a complete list of responsibilities, duties, and skills required.
