The successful candidate will primarily maintain, enhance, troubleshoot, and support existing Angular web applications. The front-end development is performed using Angular, TypeScript, and JavaScript. The ideal candidate enjoys working with an established code base, resolving software defects, implementing enhancements, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software.\n\nESSENTIAL DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:\n\nMaintain, enhance, and support existing Angular web applications.\nDevelop new features and functionality within Angular applications.\nInvestigate, troubleshoot, and resolve software defects and production issues.\nAnalyze software requirements and implement enhancements to existing functionality.\nRefactor and improve existing code to enhance maintainability, performance, and reliability.\nParticipate in all phases of the Agile Scrum software development lifecycle, including sprint planning, daily standups, and retrospectives.\nCollaborate with software engineers, product owners, and other stakeholders to deliver software updates and enhancements.\nWork closely with a test team to support software verification, resolve reported defects, and ensure software quality.\nParticipate in peer code reviews to promote code quality, consistency, maintainability, and adherence to the established coding standards.\nCollaborate with a documentation and training team on software updates that impact documentation to keep it current.\nFollow established software engineering processes, version control practices, and coding standards.\nContribute to continuous improvement of software quality, development practices, and team processes.\n\nMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:\n\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).\n3-5 years of Software Engineering experience.\nHolds or able to obtain a minimum DoD Secret security clearance. Top Secret preferred.\nProfessional experience developing and maintaining Angular applications.\nStrong proficiency with Angular, TypeScript and JavaScript.\nExperience working within an Agile Scrum software development environment.\nFamiliarity using an integrated development environment such as VS Code, Intellij IDEA, or Eclipse.\nExperience working in a Linux development environment.\nStrong analytical, troubleshooting, debugging, and problem-solving skills.\nEffective verbal and written communication skills.\nAbility to work independently and collaboratively with a software development team.\n\nPREFERRED SKILLS:\n\nJava\nGit version control\nAtlassian tools (Jira Confluence)\nGradle and Maven\nObject-oriented programming principles and software design patterns.\nExperience integrating Angular applications with Java-based backend services and enterprise application interfaces.\n\nEqual Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with Disabilities\nThis employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
