Part-Time Inpatient Staff Pharmacist - Remote (CO/NM)

Part‑Time Remote Staff PharmacistLocation: Remote, anywhere within the US.Schedule: Part‑time — may include evenings, overnights, and/or weekend shifts. Regular schedule includes 3-4 days every other week from 4PM-12AM (shift times vary).Licensure Requirements: Active pharmacist license required in CO or NM. Must also be willing to obtain MT, NV and WY.About The RoleJoin our telepharmacy team as a Remote Staff Pharmacist, supporting multiple hospitals acrossseveral states. You’ll leverage technology and clinical expertise to verify medication orders,support care teams, and ensure safe, high‑quality patient care from a fully remote environment.What You’ll DoTelepharmacy ServicesComplete remote order entry, order verification, and drug verification.Provide patient counseling when needed.Navigate multiple pharmacy information systems (PIS).Clinical SupportProvide drug information and therapeutic guidance to providers.Assess medication appropriateness, dosing (including renal/hepatic adjustments),interactions, and compatibilities.Support specialized populations such as pediatrics, geriatrics, pregnant/nursingpatients, and those with renal/hepatic impairment.Maintain knowledge of IV therapies, cardiac/narcotic drips, IV antibiotics, and more.Operational ExcellenceDocument interventions and clinical actions accurately and promptly.Communicate effectively with physicians, nurses, and patients.Ensure compliance with HIPAA, pharmacy laws, and client policies.Technical & Professional SkillsWork across VPNs, automation systems, and multiple PIS platforms.Use applications such as Google Suite/Microsoft Office and Snagit.Maintain required licenses, credentials, and system access.Training & PerformanceParticipate in ongoing training (clinical, PIS, and policy updates).Meet productivity and quality standards.QualificationsBachelors in Pharmacy required; PharmD preferredAt least 1 year of hospital pharmacy experience requiredActive and in good standing state pharmacist license required in CO or NMAdditional state licenses preferred (CO, MT, NM, NV, WY)Strong clinical knowledge and comfort working across multiple systemsAbility to work part‑time hours that may include evenings, overnights, and/orweekendsIf you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.For this position, we anticipate offering an hourly rate of 54 - 91 USD / hourly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.At The Cigna Group, you’ll enjoy a comprehensive range of benefits, with a focus on supporting your whole health.
