This position will require working in partnership with customers by advising them how to use information technology to meet their business objectives or overcome problems.\n\nYou will provide on-site, remote, and telephone support for our customers, perform LAN maintenance and networking, server administration, new user setup, backups. Upgrade and update PC and Server software packages.\n\nInstallation, configuration, troubleshooting of:\n\nPC Computers\nServers\nBackup systems and storage devices\nManaged switches, routers, and firewalls\nA variety of Software packages, commercial and third-party.\nExchange Server support, including Office 365\nMigration of Windows OS, Exchange, and SQL Servers to newer versions\n\nProvide End user support, create technology related customer quotes.\n\nTypical Day to Day Activities - The day to day activities of this position will include but are not limited to:\n\nAnswering support calls from customers\nTroubleshooting servers, workstations, printers, switches, routers, etc\nAdvising clients on options for technology decisions\nEducating customers on use of computer software and hardware\nConfiguring, installing, and supporting Client/Server networks\nDefining scopes of projects as well as project management\nClarifying customer’ system specifications, understanding their work practices and the nature of their business\nTravelling to customer locations as well as working remotely\nPreparing and providing requested information and documents to customers\nProviding detailed descriptions of work performed\nUpdating service request details and status\n\nThis is a full-time, hourly position. This position will report to the Technical Services Manager. Requirements: 5+ years experience in Information Technologies industry.\n\nMicrosoft premium certifications preferred. College Degree not required.\n\nMICROSOFT skills at expert level\nCISCO skills a plus\nHardware vendor certifications a plus\nExperience with Remote Monitoring & Management desirable.\n\nExcellent communication skills required. You must be able to comfortably and effectively explain and collaborate with customers and co-workers.\n\nTime management skills required. Must be able to handle multiple top priorities and self manage your schedule.\n\nMust be team oriented. Must maintain a professional demeanor at all times.\n\nDependable transportation is required. Must maintain a valid driver’s license and insurance coverage. Must be willing and able to provide personal transportation to and from customer\nlocations (mileage will be reimbursed).
