This role combines business analytics, financial reporting, data management, and technical data solutions to support reporting, performance measurement, and continuous improvement initiatives across the organization.\nThe ideal candidate is an early-career professional who enjoys both the technical and business sides of data. reporting.\nSupport monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting processes.\nAnalyze financial and operational performance data to identify trends, risks, opportunities, and key business drivers.\nDevelop dashboards and scorecards that measure company, division, department, and project performance.\nSupport budgeting, forecasting, performance reporting, and business planning initiatives.\nAssist leadership with ad hoc analysis and special projects.\nReporting & Business Intelligence\nDevelop, maintain, and automate recurring reports using Power BI, Datarails, Excel, SQL, and related tools.\nCreate dashboards and visualizations that provide actionable insights for operational and executive leadership.\nDefine and document reporting requirements, KPIs, metrics, and business rules.\nEnsure reporting consistency, accuracy, and usability across the organization.\nContinuously improve reporting processes through automation and standardization.\nData Management & Technical Solutions\nDevelop and maintain SQL queries to extract, transform, validate, and analyze data.\nConnect and integrate data from multiple business systems into reporting solutions.\nSupport the design, maintenance, and optimization of datasets, database views, and reporting structures.\nTroubleshoot reporting and data integrity issues and assist with timely resolution.\nSupport data governance, quality assurance, validation, and reconciliation activities.\nAssist with creating a scalable and reliable data foundation that supports business reporting and analytics.\nBusiness Partnership\nCollaborate with operational leaders, finance teams, project teams, and executives to understand business needs.\nTranslate business questions into data-driven solutions and actionable insights.\nHelp educate users and stakeholders on available reporting tools and capabilities.\nSupport continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to leverage data and technology more effectively.\nAdditional Responsibilities\nMaintain documentation of reports, dashboards, datasets, and reporting processes.\nStay informed on emerging technologies, reporting tools, and best practices.\nPerform miscellaneous duties as assigned.\nREQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS\nTechnical Skills\nWorking knowledge of SQL, including joins, filtering, aggregations, and data extraction.\nExperience with Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivots, and data analysis techniques.\nExperience with Power BI, Datarails, or similar reporting and visualization tools preferred.\nUnderstanding of databases, reporting methodologies, and data structures.\nInterest in data integration, automation, business intelligence, and analytics.\nAbility to learn new software applications, systems, and technologies quickly.\nBusiness & Analytical Skills\nStrong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.\nAbility to interpret financial, operational, and business analytics, finance, reporting, business intelligence, data management, or a related field.\nInternship, co-op, or academic project experience involving SQL, Power BI, Datarails, Excel, business intelligence, financial analysis, or data visualization.\nExperience with project-based, engineering, construction, manufacturing, or service-related industries is helpful but not required.\nWHAT
