This role is responsible for turning operational and contractual data into clear insights that support informed decision making, contractor performance, compliance and continuous improvement.Working closely with Mine Contracts, Operations, Maintenance, Procurement, Commercial, Finance and contractor representatives, you will collect, validate and analyse data from multiple sources, develop dashboards and reports, monitor key performance indicators, identify trends and risks, and prepare reporting that supports operational and commercial outcomes.This position is based at the Carmichael Mine in Central Queensland’s Galilee Basin and is offered on eight days on, six days off (8 / 6) FIFO roster. The ideal candidate would FIFO out of Townsville, Rockhampton or Mackay (a flight time of 55 minutes). Candidates who live in the Isaac region also have the option to drive-in and drive-out.The role will suit an analytical and detail-focused engineering professional who is interested in contract performance, data visualisation, reporting systems and business improvement in a large-scale mining environment.Key ResponsibilitiesCollect, validate and analyse operational and contractual data to support contractor performance monitoringDevelop, maintain and improve dashboards, reports and presentations that provide clear performance insightsMonitor key performance indicators, service standards and contractual obligations across contractor agreementsIdentify trends, anomalies, risks and opportunities for operational and commercial improvementAssist with contract reviews, contractor performance meetings and compliance auditsPrepare accurate reports, analysis and performance summaries, while improving reporting processes through automation and data quality improvementsWork collaboratively with internal teams and contractor representatives to validate findings and support performance improvementAbout YouYou are a curious and analytical engineering professional who enjoys working with data, systems and stakeholders to solve problems and improve performance.
