{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"d47dcc33655866dd4b4e7072","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/d47dcc33655866dd4b4e7072","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/d47dcc33655866dd4b4e7072","title":"Machine Operator 1ST SHIFT","description":"PRODUCTION OPERATOR\nABOUT THE POSITION:\nThis position is involved in daily production, staging steel and bundles for upcoming runs, loading and clearing units, visual and physical inspection of steel color, profile, gauge, and quality, control of output profiling sections with work drawings.\n\nDUTIES:\nOperate overhead crane to load and unload steel coils\nCreate list orders for production\nStage bundles for upcoming run\nLoading and clearing units\nEnsures that any task performed within the work cell is completed in accordance with the written Standard Working Operating Procedure(s) for that task.\nContributes to an ongoing culture of cleanliness and order within the workstation/cell.\nPrepare and make chemical recipes for the production of insulated foam.\nTroubleshoot and resolve technical issues that arise during operations.\nInterpret and understand technical specifications, instructions, and measurements.\nCollaborate with team members to achieve production goals and timelines.\nMonitor production processes to ensure quality standards are met.\nBASIC QUALIFICATIONS:\nMinimum High-school Diploma or equivalent.\nWell-organized\nAttention to detail and accuracy\nMechanically inclined.\nAble to monitor proper functioning of equipment\nExperience handling hand and power tools\nExcellent Communication Skills.\nAble to work in team, and independently\nWORK ENVIRONMENT:\nYou will be working in a brand new, natural light filled, State-of-the-Art Facility in Walker Michigan.\nDoes get warm in the summer months\nPHYSICAL DEMANDS:\nThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
