The company has someone retiring after being there over two decades, so this is to replace them. This position will have a direct line to ownership and will be the most influential person on the accounting/finance team. Responsibilities Oversee operations of the accounting/finance department Maintain a system of internal controls over accounting transactions. Issue timely and complete financial statements to leadership Coordinate quarterly and annual reporting/close Calculate and issue financial and operating metrics. Coordinate capital project proposals Proactively provide in-depth analysis of product cost standards and actual results discussing reasons for results and methods to improve performance. Qualifications Bachelors degree in Accounting/Finance, or related field 6+ years of accounting experience Prior leadership experience Strong verbal and written communication skills. Organizational skills and attention to detail.
