Manages assigned reporting projects to ensure that data and analysis requests are completed timely, accurately while presented in a way that meets the needs of the requesting department. This position will work closely with the finance department.\n\nEssential Job Functions\n\nSupport analysis for the actuarial department and finance teams.\n\nKey tasks include supporting engagements with outside vendors. Vendor engagements include pricing work, risk score initiatives, and quality measures.\n\nPeriodic utilization and cost reporting.\n\nSupport the revenue cycle.\n\nSupport efforts towards consolidating data management and creating dashboards.\n\nAutomate processes and improve efficiency using tools such as SQL, Power BI, and Excel.\n\nEnsure data accuracy, integrity, and documentation of methodologies.\n\nManage assigned projects and effectively communicate with the requestor and leadership team any project roadblocks that may jeopardize deadlines in advance of due dates.\n\nResponsible for understanding the various data sources available at Imperial.\n\nDocument all coding/analysis/reporting projects following established protocols to ensure transparency and repeatability.\n\nCollaborates and maintains effective working relationships with management, internal departments, and external vendors.\n\nWork with management to prioritize business and information needs.\n\nMaintains regular and consistent attendance.\n\nAdheres to Compliance Plan and HIPAA regulations.\n\nMarginal Job Functions\n\nTake on special projects as needed.\n\nPerforms other duties as assigned.\n\nBehavioral Expectations\na. Attends staff meetings as required.\n\nb. Attends appropriate training, seminars and workshops as required.\n\n2. Customer Focus:\n\na. Maintains client/customer confidentiality and privacy in accordance with HIPAA regulations and IMAS’s Standards of Conduct.\n\nb. Fosters appropriate communication and relations with Supervisor, co-workers and other staff.\n\n3. Quality /Process Improvement/Safety:\n\na. Reports issues of security, health and/or safety to appropriate supervisor as soon as practicable.\n\nb. Supports and demonstrates safety throughout all duties performed.\n\nc. Follows established policies and procedures and understands and complies with all regulators standards set forth by governing entities.\n\nPosition Requirements\nEducation/Experience\n\nBachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or related field.\n\nMust have experience in SQL, Power BI, and Excel.
