We maintain a low teacher-student ratio (from 1:1 to 1:4) where possible, and keep students and instructors together throughout an entire course for a meaningful experience.\n\nInstructors will take on a number of basic responsibilities:\n\n* Teach students of all ages (K-12)\n* Lead weekly classes on a number of different programming subjects\n* Work with students to create their own coding projects and presentations\n* Run trial classes to inspire future programmers\n\nAs your experience grows, there is room to take on more responsibility, from project development to curriculum development.\n\nRequirements\n\n* Computer/Engineering/STEM/Education related majors or relevant experience\n* Interest in learning new programming languages and tools (e.g., Python, Minecraft MakeCode, Scratch, App Inventor, Unity, Roblox)\n* At least one afternoon/evening available per week\n* Enjoy working with kids of all ages\n* Exercise patience and humility\n* A passion for learning and education\n\nPreferred Experience (but not required)\n\n* Familiarity with popular programming languages (Python, Java, C#, HTML/CSS, JavaScript)\n* AI and Machine Learning\n* Game Development\n* Web Development\n* Algorithms\n\nBenefits:\n\n* Project bonus based on the project milestones and deliverables\n* Flexible class schedule that can fit your availability\n* Enrich your own resume with the published applications\n* Learn-by-teaching\n* Have a positive impact on the next generation of programmers\n* Improve your communication and ability to breakdown complex topics\n\nAbout Coding Mind\n\nFounded in the fall of 2017, Coding Mind (http://codingmind.com/) is dedicated to educating students of all ages in computer science through interactive lessons and enriching programming projects.
