Reporting to the Director of Learning & Development, this role partners closely with Operations, consulting leadership, and subject matter experts to design, deliver, and continuously improve learning programs that support consulting teams in the field, technology and shared services teams, and internal operations.\r\nThis role owns the end-to-end learning experience at AArete, including oversight of the firm's Learning Management System (Docebo) and leadership of the New Hire Onboarding program. The ideal candidate brings strong instructional design and internal consulting skills, is comfortable translating complex concepts into practical learning experiences for adult professionals and can balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution in a fast-paced consulting environment.\r\nWork You'll Do\r\nAlign learning and development programs with AArete's business priorities and employees' development needs across consulting, technology, and operations\r\nEvaluate AArete's training needs by assessing employee knowledge and capabilities and conducting needs assessments across consulting roles (Analyst, Senior Consultant, Manager) using surveys, leadership feedback, performance data, and other inputs\r\nDesign, coordinate, and execute training programs, workshops, and ongoing learning experiences focused on applied consulting skills, healthcare domain expertise, business communication, and technology\r\nRefine and evolve learning programs based on learner feedback, training effectiveness, performance outcomes, and evolving healthcare and health technology trends\r\nProvide data-driven insights and recommendations to leadership by tracking, analyzing, and reporting on training metrics and key performance indicators\r\nFacilitate and lead a variety of training sessions and meetings, including specialized programs designed for specific consulting levels such as Senior Consultants and Managers\r\nEvaluate and coach training instructors to improve the quality, consistency, and effectiveness of learning delivery\r\nOversee AArete's Learning Management System (Docebo), including content organization, development, maintenance, and optimization of learning materials\r\nManage the design and execution of all Learning & Development components of AArete's New Hire Onboarding program\r\nDrive Learning & Development communications, including training announcements, session invitations, and program updates\r\nMaintain up-to-date knowledge of healthcare policy, health technology innovation, and consulting best practices to ensure learning content remains relevant and practical\r\nPartner with consulting leaders, practice heads, and subject matter experts to co-create learning content and ensure real-world applicability to client delivery\r\nAct as an internal consultant to define learning solutions that support client delivery excellence and internal capability building\r\nCoordinate with external vendors or academic partners when specialized expertise, training support, or scale is required\r\nOther duties as assigned\r\nRequirements\r\n6-8 years of experience supporting learning and development, talent development, organizational development, or experience within a professional services or consulting environment\r\nBachelor's degree required\r\nStrong experience in healthcare and/or healthcare technology with an interest in innovation and emerging tools\r\nExperience with blended and digital learning modalities, including LMS-based delivery (Docebo experience a plus)\r\nAdvanced literacy in artificial intelligence (AI), including familiarity with AI tools and their practical applications\r\nIntermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)\r\nStrong project management, organizational skills, prioritization, and stakeholder management capabilities; task and detail-oriented\r\nAbility to communicate effectively and confidently with all levels of the organization; ability to consult with senior stakeholders and influence without direct authority\r\nFamiliarity with healthcare policy, health technology innovation, and consulting best practices\r\nExcellent communication and presentation skills across in-person and virtual environments\r\nWillingness to engage in direct client interaction, including travel to client location\r\nApplicants must be based in Chicago, IL, and flexible to work from our Chicago office as needed\r\nMust be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship\r\nPreferred Requirements\r\nPrior experience supporting learning programs within a consulting or professional services firm\r\nBachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Learning & Development, or related field preferred\r\nExperience facilitating training for consulting roles (Analyst through Manager levels)\r\nCompensation & Benefits\r\nFlexible PTO, monthly half-day refuels, volunteer time off, 10 paid holidays\r\nOwn Your Day flexible work policy\r\nCompetitive majority employer-paid benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K Match\r\nGenerous paid parental leave options\r\nEmployer-paid Life Insurance, Short Term Disability, Long Term Disability\r\nCharitable contribution matching program\r\nNew client commission opportunities and referral bonus program\r\nBike share discount program\r\nThe estimated base salary range for this position is $100,000 - $130,000.
