This role will focus heavily on Python software engineering, data file pipelines, automated testing, and AI-enabled development practices.The ideal candidate will have strong backend engineering experience, familiarity with PostgreSQL, and experience working with healthcare data. Technical leadership, mentorship, or lead-level experience is preferred for candidates interested in taking on additional technical ownership.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, test, and maintain robust Python-based software solutionsBuild and support scalable data file pipelinesWork with PostgreSQL and other data technologiesDevelop and maintain reliable automated testing and production-ready softwareLeverage Claude Code and other AI development tools to improve engineering workflows and productivityBuild, deploy, and support solutions within an AWS cloud environmentCollaborate closely with the broader engineering team to design and deliver high-quality solutionsProvide technical guidance and mentorship to other engineers as appropriateRequired QualificationsStrong hands-on Python software engineering experienceExperience designing and developing data file pipelinesFamiliarity with PostgreSQLStrong automated testing practices and a track record of building reliable, production-ready softwareExperience using Claude Code or similar AI-assisted development toolsPreferred QualificationsPrevious technical leadership, mentorship, or lead engineering experienceExperience working with healthcare data or healthcare technology platformsExperience developing and deploying solutions within AWSWhat We're Looking ForPython software engineering is the primary technical requirement for this position.
