Job DetailsDescriptionGrove Isle Tennis and Yacht Club in Miami, FL is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity of full-time Maintenance Associate to support daily facility care, assist with court maintenance, and ensure a clean, safe, and well-functioning environment for members, guests, and staff. This full-time position is part of the Cliff Drysdale Tennis/Peter Burwash International team, a Troon company.Grove Isle Tennis and Yacht Club features 8 Har-Tru courts, 1 padel court and 1 pickleball court in a relaxed, high-quality playing environment.General PurposeProvides daily repair and maintenance services for all aspects of the operation, including offices, public spaces, restroom facilities, court maintenance and other areas as required.Essential Duties Performs general repairs and maintenance for all areas within the operation including but not limited to electrical, mechanical, and structural aspects of the buildings and grounds. Maintains cleanliness and appearance of exterior of the facility including but not limited to emptying trash cans, sweeping walkways, picking up litter, and arranging outdoor furniture. Assure maintenance of the racquet courts and swimming pool. Maintains cleanliness and appearance of interior areas of the facility including but not limited to emptying trash cans and ashtrays, sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, and arranging furniture. Identify and report to supervisor when supplies are needed. Performs other duties as required. Education/ExperienceLess than high school education; or up to one-month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Physical DemandsFrequently uses hands, reaches with hands and arms. Regularly climbs, balances, stoops, kneels, crouches, crawls, stands, walks, sits. Frequently lifts or carries up to 50 pounds.Environment/NoiseOccasionally works in wet or humid conditions, near moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles. Frequently works in outdoor weather conditions.
