{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"d45c53bf0d8a5908c12d90bc","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/d45c53bf0d8a5908c12d90bc","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/d45c53bf0d8a5908c12d90bc","title":"Software Test Engineer","description":"Job Description: Manual Testing Ownership: Immediately take ownership of critical manual testing responsibilities, ensuring the timely and high-quality release of our iOS, Android, and Web applications.End-to-End API Testing: Take part in our E2E API testing, ensuring every backend service release is timely and high-quality.Strategic Automation Drive: Dedicate significant time to researching, designing, developing, and implementing robust, scalable automated test frameworks and suites for UI, API, and integration layers.Test Plan & Strategy Development: Develop and evolve comprehensive test strategies and plans for major features and critical product initiatives.Shift-Left Quality Advocate: Embed quality practices earlier in the development lifecycle by collaborating closely with Product, Design, and Engineering teams from inception through deployment.Performance & Reliability Contribution: Contribute to implementing and monitoring performance, scalability, and reliability testing.Data-Driven Insights: Utilize telemetry, analytics, and crash reporting tools to gather insights into user behavior and identify areas for quality improvement.Collaboration: Work closely with other team members, providing technical guidance and contributing to a culture of knowledge sharing and technical excellence within the engineering organization.Customer-Centric Focus: Act as a strong advocate for the end-user, ensuring a seamless, intuitive, and consistent experience across all platforms.Requirements: Minimum 3+ years of experience in Quality Assurance or Software Development Engineering in Test (SDET) rolesExperience in both manual and automated testing methodologies, with the ability to quickly master new features and build comprehensive test cases.Strong expertise in test automation framework design and implementation for complex distributed systems.Experience with Type ScriptExperience with test automation tools and frameworks, such as Playwright, Cypress, Appium, XCUITest, Espresso, Jest, Pytest, K6, MaestroStrong understanding of API testing principles and tools, such as Postman, OpenAPI/Swagger, gRPCurlFamiliarity with cloud-native architectures, such as GCP, and containerization technologies, such as Docker, KubernetesExperience with CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated tests into the development workflowExceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to diagnose complex technical issues.Excellent communication and collaboration skills, comfortable working asynchronously in a remote-first, cross-functional team environment.Benefits: Equity in a high-growth startupHealth, dental, and vision insurance premium contributions;
