This role coordinates production, planning, materials, quality, engineering, and shipping to ensure customer orders are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards.\nSuccess is measured by operational execution, team leadership, customer satisfaction, and continuous improvement.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\nProduction Leadership:\nLead all daily manufacturing operations.\nConduct daily production meetings and establish priorities.\nEnsure production schedules are achieved while maintaining quality and safety.\nRemove obstacles affecting production performance.\nMonitor labor utilization and productivity.\nPlanning & Materials:\nCoordinate closely with Purchasing and Materials Planning.\nManage production schedules based on customer demand and material availability.\nIdentify shortages early and develop recovery plans.\nMaintain inventory accuracy and efficient material flow.\nEngineering & Quality:\nCoordinate Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) into production.\nWork closely with Engineering to support new product introductions.\nPartner with Quality to resolve production issues and implement corrective actions.\nPromote standardized work and disciplined manufacturing processes.\nOperational Excellence:\nDrive continuous improvement initiatives.\nImprove throughput, on-time delivery, inventory accuracy, and productivity.\nDevelop KPIs and review operational performance regularly.\nSupport implementation and effective use of ERP/MRP systems.\nLeadership:\nLead and develop supervisors and production employees.\nFoster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.\nCoach employees and address performance issues promptly.\nMaintain a safe, organized, and professional manufacturing environment.\n\nQualifications:\n5–10+ years of manufacturing leadership experience.\nExperience leading production in an electronics, electromechanical, industrial, medical device, or similar manufacturing environment.\nStrong knowledge of production scheduling, inventory control, materials planning, and manufacturing operations.\nExperience using ERP/MRP systems.\nWorking knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement principles.\nExcellent communication and problem-solving skills.\nComfortable working in a fast-paced, high-mix, low-volume manufacturing environment.\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\nExperience with electronics assembly or PCB manufacturing.\nExposure to ISO quality systems.\nAPICS/CPIM, Lean, or Six Sigma training is a plus.\n\nWhat Success Looks Like:\nWithin the first 12 months, you will:\nImprove on-time delivery performance.\nEstablish a consistent daily operating cadence.\nImprove communication between Production, Engineering, Purchasing, and Quality.\nReduce shortages, rework, and expedited orders.\nStrengthen production discipline and accountability.\nBuild a highly engaged manufacturing team focused on customer success.\n\nWhy Join LEDdynamics?\nYou’ll join a growing technology company where decisions are made quickly, ideas are welcomed, and your contribution has a direct impact on customers and the business.
