We’ve built strong lasting relationships with many customers over years of consistent, measurable performance.\nLocation: Hillside, IL\nReports to: Warehouse Supervisor\nEssential Duties/Responsibilities:\nThis position will manage and play an essential role in all aspects of our warehouse receiving processes of our company.\nAccurate physical receiving of materials/product in order to maintain integrity of inventory control and insures delivery of materials/product to the proper department\nEnsures purchase order number is on all paperwork\nRecords and checks quantity and quality of good received\nInspect, accept, or reject inbound shipments\nOperates with a sense of teamwork\nUnderstands and adheres to organizational and department policy and procedures\nCommunicates and coordinates with appropriate buyer for product returns/repair\nProperly inputs received material into computer system\nDelivers product to appropriate internal personnel\nPerform cycle counts regularly\nEstablishes and supports effective working relationships with other employees, supervisors and managers\nMaintains a safe work environment according to all department procedures, federal and state regulations\nMaintains job-related confidentiality\nAssists in other departments as needed\nRequirements:\n\nQualifications:\nHigh school diploma/GED are required.\n4+ years’ experience in a warehouse environment in a leadership position\n3+ years’ experience operating stand-up forklift, sit-down forklift, and other non-powered material handling experience is required.\nExperience in the mail industry is greatly preferred\nOrganizational and multi-tasking skills and familiarity with MS office programs are a requirement to support the customer\nAbility to work within a team environment (Department, other company departments & outside vendors) and maintain positive attitude is necessary\nStrong and accurate data entry experience\nAbility to communicate respectfully and effectively both verbally and in writing always\nAbility to work in a fast-paced environment, work with minimum supervision, and attention to detail is required\nCertified to operate standup forklift\nComputer literate\nFluency in English is required.\nWork Environment/Physical Demands:\nAbility to stand for 8 to 12 hours & walk 3 hours\nLift up to 50lbs\nIntermittent bending up to 3 hours.
