Welder/Fabricator

Job Description We are looking for a motivated and experienced MIG welder to join and grow with our company as a Welder/Fabricator. As part of our fabrication team, you'll be required to construct and manufacture metal components and structures, maintaining attention to detail to produce clean, polished welds. You'll follow blueprints, determine material measurements, and take responsibility for fabricating parts used to assemble complete tactical structures. You are responsible for the quality of your output and will be required to perform simple tests to ensure weld quality and tolerance. Welder Fabricator Duties and ResponsibilitiesFabricate and manufacture metal parts, components, and structures for complete assemblyFollow blueprints to ensure exact specifications of outputProduce strong, clean weldsTest output to ensure strength and tolerance of weldsWelder Fabricator Requirements and Qualifications5+ years of prototype fabrication experience preferred but not requiredExperience with common welding tools and procedures, including MIG welding, prototyping, metal fabricating, grinding, cutting, and assemblyAble to stand, crouch, and occasionally lift heavy equipmentUnderstand and effectively read blueprints with knowledge of common welding symbolsFitting, setting, and installing fabricated structuresMetal forming, bending, and finishingAssisting operations and team with various other fabrication processesRequires the ability to travel for several consecutive days to various job sites.
