Description Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Coordinates programming and operation of CMM equipment to include Mitutoyo & Zeiss Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) in a manufacturing environment engaged in the production of precision machined components. Perform dimensional layouts, 1st /last piece inspections using CMMs, calipers and other general measurement equipment. Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:Read blueprints to determine dimensions and tolerance specifications.Compare recorded measurements to blueprint dimensions and tolerances and notify specified persons of discrepancies.Develop and implement computer programs using Mitutoyo & Zeiss CMMs.Ability to manage time and resources to ensure that operational requirements are satisfied through CMM inspections.Good mathematical skills, experienced in geometry and trigonometry.Strong understanding of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing.Manual inspection experience.
