The Customer Journey is our key to success. Nudy's Cafe is the go-to casual breakfast & lunch location that provides quick, reasonably priced & freshly prepared meals in a family-friendly environment. We currently operate in soon to be 16 locations across Chester, Montgomery, and Delaware Counties. Our 16th location will open in 2026. We anticipate future growth throughout local markets as we continue the search for additional locations.We are actively recruiting for a full-time Assistant General Manager to assist the Dual Unit General Manager in managing 2 locations in Exton. Our dual unit AGMs are exceptional leaders who excel in teamwork and operational excellence. They will report to the GM and support them by overseeing all aspects of daily restaurant operations, including the kitchen, dining areas, counter and togo business, while also managing inventory, training, labor costs, and staffing. The AGM supports each location by maintaining the restaurants, fostering confident and capable shift leaders and team members. As an AGM, you will be responsible for both units when the GM is not working. You must be well-versed in both front and back-of-house operations, ensuring the restaurant maintains its outstanding reputation for service and food in their territory. You will be responsible for delivering a high-quality detailed customer experience. You will directly manage and motivate the staff to provide the Nudy's Promise to each and every guest. You will ensure efficient restaurant operations, manage productivity, quality & customer service standards all while working with a great team!Key ResponsibilitiesOperations ManagementCoordinate daily restaurant operations in both units Maximize restaurant sales while maintaining high guest satisfaction Ensure smooth daily operations and uphold all restaurant standardsBe accessible for business-related inquiries, even outside of working hoursAdhere to and ensure execution of all opening, ongoing, and closing procedures Maintain company efficiency goals (Drinks under 2 minutes, Food in 8 minutes or less, 30-minute total guest experience.)Understand and deliver on the Customer JourneyRespond swiftly & accurately to customer concernsAccountability for taking initiative, being people focused and result orientedInventory & Supply ManagementRegularly review product quality Manage and oversee inventory (Paper goods, Food products, Coffee & tea supplies, Front-of-house supplies (register paper, printer ink, gift cards…etc.) Ensure daily completion of temperature logs for coolers and heating equipmentStaffing & LeadershipInterview and recommend quality candidates for hireContinuously manage, train and coach, all employees and shift leaders to ensure consistency in food preparation, customer service practices & side work schedules.Provide consistent feedback to GM regarding scheduling concerns for 2 units (BOH & FOH schedules, 7 Shifts software experience preferred)Maintain open communication among management and team membersEnsure efficient service and order accuracyUtilize progressive disciplinary action following company policiesWork hands-on in both the kitchen and dining areas as neededAssist GM in Conducting annual performance reviews for all staff membersRestaurant Cleanliness & ComplianceMonitor and maintain cleanliness of kitchens, dining rooms, and service areas Oversee proper portioning and food presentation Ensure accurate food prep, labeling, and rotation Maintain dishwashing area cleanliness and supply levels Position Requirements Essential Skills & QualificationsStrong background in restaurant operations, food service, and cost control (3+ years salaried restaurant management) Proven ability to lead, motivate, and coach teamsAbility to interpret restaurant operations data from reports and effectively use this information to inspire positive change Ability to instill a sense of urgency in the team and maintain high performance standardsSERV Safe CertifiedEffective leader and motivator, willing to step in and assist wherever neededGoal-driven with a focus on personal and professional developmentHighly organized, able to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyStrong people skills with the ability to train and inspire team membersOpen Availability for schedulingBenefits:Industry leading work life balanceCompany Subsidized Medical BenefitsDental Benefits Paid VacationSick DaysBereavement Leave Day Shift OnlyShift Meal Flexible ScheduleJoin us to deliver the Nudy's Promise that our community has been enjoying for decades!Nudy's Cafe Promise:I'm honored to be part of the community and welcome you and your family to Nudy's Cafe.
