Respond tomobile service callsand perform on-site trailer repairs
Inspect, diagnose, and troubleshootmechanical, electrical, and structural trailer issues
Performpreventive maintenance, safety inspections, and DOT-related repairs
Repair and replace components including:
Brake systems
Suspension systems
Electrical wiring and lighting
Frames, floors, doors, and structural componentsPerformwelding and fabricationas required
Complete and documentwork orders and service reports
Monitor and manageparts inventoryon service vehicles
Ensure all trailers meetsafety regulations and compliance standards
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
Stay current withindustry standards and best practicesTrailer Types & Equipment Serviced
Dry van trailers
Flatbed trailers
Utility trailers
Cargo and commercial trailersQualifications & Skills
Proven experience as aTrailer Technician, Trailer Mechanic, or Fleet Maintenance Technician
Strong mechanical aptitude with knowledge oftrailer systems and components
Experience withwelding, fabrication, brake systems, and electrical troubleshooting
Familiarity withhand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
Ability to work independently in amobile/on-site service role
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Commitment to workplacesafety and compliance
