We are seeking a detail-oriented CNC Programmer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for interpreting technical blueprints, programming and adjusting machine settings, and ensuring efficient material usage throughout the production process. You will play a key role in maintaining product quality, optimizing manufacturing efficiency, and supporting continuous improvement on the shop floor. Responsibilities:Read and interpret technical blueprints and design modelsInput product designs into computer modeling softwareCreate, simulate, and debug CNC programs for cutting and forming operationsTroubleshoot production issues, resolve problems, and adjust processes as neededTrain new staff on machine operation and standard proceduresPlan and update material requirements within ERP systemsOptimize sheet utilization to maximize yield and minimize wasteTrack sheet metal usage and manage material remnantsOther Duties as assigned Requirements:High school diploma or GED requiredCoursework or background in computer science, algebra, geometry, or related fields preferredAbility to read and interpret technical blueprints accuratelyExperience with computer modeling or CAD/CAM softwareStrong mathematical skills, including applying equations and measurementsHigh attention to detail and commitment to accuracyAbility to work independently and meet deadlinesFlexibility to work additional hours as needed Benefits401K with Company MatchHealth, Vision & Dental InsuranceLife & Disability InsuranceFlexible Spending AccountPaid Time Off (PTO) ProgramPaid HolidaysReimbursement for Select Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) EEO STATEMENTAebi Schmidt Group is an Equal Opportunity employer and an Affirmative Action Employer.
