The team performs system level testing under various operating conditions, and validates the performance of the hardware, firmware and control loops. An engineer in this team will be involved in a full product lifecycle and will carry new products from inception all the way to NPI.\nWhat You Can Expect\nWe are seeking a motivated and talented Electrical Hardware Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a foundational understanding of electrical hardware design and development, with a keen interest in developing platform solutions for the AI market. This role offers an excellent opportunity for growth and development in a fast-paced environment.\nAssist in the design, development, and testing of electrical hardware for optical modules and other AI platforms\nCollaborate with senior engineers to define hardware requirements and specifications\nPerform hands-on testing and debugging of hardware components using lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies and signal analyzer\nParticipate in hardware validation and verification, including debugging and troubleshooting\nHelp develop and maintain detailed design documentation, including schematics, PCB layouts, and BOMs\nWork closely with manufacturing teams to support the production and assembly of hardware components\nWhat We're Looking For\nQualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related fields and 3-5 years of related professional experience or Master’s degree and/or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related fields with 2-3 years of experience or equivalent professional experience in lieu of a formal degree\nStrong understanding of electrical engineering principles and practices\nFamiliarity with CAD tools for schematic capture and PCB layout (e.g., Allegro, OrCAD)\nProficiency in using lab equipment, with a good understanding of electrical measurement and testing methodologies\nExcellent problem-solving and analytical skills\nStrong communication and teamwork abilities\nEagerness to learn and adapt to new challenges\nPreferred Qualifications:\nFamiliarity in using firmware for board level communication and scripting\nBasic knowledge of power management, high-speed signal and power integrity\nFamiliarity with industry standards and protocols related to DCI technology\nUnderstanding of thermal management and EMI/EMC considerations in hardware design\nExpected Base Pay Range (USD)\n109,400 - 161,950, $ per annum\nThe successful candidate’s starting base pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location and market conditions.
