The Controller will inherit a team of 4 and will report directly into the CFO.\nThe key responsibilities of the Controller will include but will not be limited to:\n- Oversee all aspects of financial management, including financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.\n- Ensure accurate and timely completion of monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes.\n- Perform account reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies or issues.\n- Manage the general ledger accounting functions and ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulations.\n- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.\n- Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting and ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.\n- Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and internal controls to safeguard company assets.\n- Collaborate with other departments to provide financial analysis and support for business decisions.\n- Stay up-to-date with financial concepts, accounting best practices, and changes in regulations.\nThe ideal Controller will have:\n- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA designation preferred).\n- Proven experience as a Controller or similar role in a manufacturing environment.\n- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and financial concepts.\n- Proficiency in using accounting software.\n- Experience with public accounting is a plus.\n- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data accurately.\n- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.\n- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.\n- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.\nThe Controller will oversee the financial, day to day operation and will play a large part in supporting the business's strategic decision making team.
