This position involves managing and security IT systems, overseeing system configuration, and ensuring operational stability across a variety of systems in a cloud-based environment. You will be responsible for the implementation, configuration, and maintenance of these systems. The ideal candidate brings hands-on technical experience, a strong grasp on federal and DoD cybersecurity standards and compliance measures.Provision, configure, and maintain AWS GovCloud environments (Dev/Test/ Production) in support of modernization projectsAdminister and maintain Oracle and Oracle APEX applications environments, coordinating with database administrators and software developers to endure stable, high-performing infrastructurePerform ongoing systems administration activities, to include OS patching, configuration management, and environment monitoring in accordance with customer directives, compliance and regulatory requirementsApply and maintain Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) and Cloud Computing Security Requirements Guide (CC SRG) controls across IL4/IL5 environments to support and sustain Authority to Operate (ATO) specificationsCoordinate with Cybersecurity teams to support continuous monitoring, vulnerability management, and incident response activities in alignment with Risk Management Framework (RMF) requirementsParticipate in Agile/Scrum sprint ceremonies/stand-ups, contributing infrastructure and environment-related user stories, sprint tasks, and status updatesProduce and maintain technical documentation including environment configuration records, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and system administration runbooks in support of program deliverablesPlan and execute upgrades, installations, monitoring, and management tools, security practices, and overall support architectureServe as Tier II/III escalation point for complex issues, collaborating with cybersecurity, operations, and applications support teams At least 8 years of experience in a system administration role, with at least 5+ years’ experience managing, provisioning, and monitoring cloud infrastructureDeep knowledge of AWS, or cloud-based platforms, including experience with serverless, containerization, and virtual machinesProficiency in automation, scripting, and infrastructure-as-a-service code, such as PowerShell, Python, Bas, or TerraformAdvanced administration skills in Linux/Unix and Windows Server environmentExperience implementing security protocols and utilizing monitoring tools to ensure uptime and performanceAbility to resolve complex, high-level, multi-platform system issuesAbility to create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for configurations and proceduresActive Secret ClearanceIAT II Certification Security+Bachelor’s (BS) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or equivalent experience (10+ years) - strongly preferred but not requiredAWS, MS, Linux based certification is a plusExperience supporting teams in AWS environments (GovCloud a plus)Experience supporting or participating in Product Release related activitiesKnowledge and experience with automation; reducing manual activitiesRequirements of position Think analytically, effective verbal and written communication skills, make decisions, observe/remember details, interpret data, concentrate on tasks, adjust to change, handle stress/emotions.
