Documents and maintain data to ensure that products meet customer requirements.\nRESPONSIBILITIES:\nPerforms inprocess quality inspections and audits of molded parts and/or assembly parts during the manufacturing process.\nInspects received products and performs final audits of finished products.\nPerforms first piece inspections as required.\nPerforms incoming inspection as required\nTrains and assists operators and assemblers to perform quality tasks as needed to meet quality production.\nProvides information for manufacturing files as needed.\nEnsures that all necessary information in the manufacturing process is properly documented.\nAssists setup personnel with first piece inspection when necessary.\nInterfaces with production setup personnel and supervisor when problems arise.\nProvides other support to manufacturing as needed.\nPerforms all work tasks in a quality manner to meet all internal and external customer requirements.\nRecommends ideas and is active in meeting continuous improvements; assists in achieving department and company goals\nAttends required training in order to achieve benchmark quality performance.\nPerforms job duties in a safe manner and assists in achieving company safety goals.\nPerforms other related duties as assigned.\nQualifications\nKnowledge of quality assurance policies, procedures, SPC, ISO, quality assurance audits, inspections and accurate data documentation.\nKnowledge of molded parts, IQMS and manufacturing processes.\nKnowledge of measuring equipment and ability to read blue prints\nExcellent math skills\nAbility to properly maintain records and document data\nAbility to teach inspections and measuring techniques to others.\nAbility to work with minimum supervision and solve problems.\nAbility to work cooperatively with others in stressful situations\nMust be detailed oriented and a passion for excellence\nMust have good communication skills (written and verbal)\nMust have good attendance and dependability\nPhysical Demands\nStanding, bending and walking over extended periods of time in a manufacturing environment involving noise, dust, etc... and some stress.
