The CNC Operator will be responsible for moving materials, setting up machines and ensuring parts are made in a timely manner. 1st Shift hours: Monday - Friday 7AM - 3:30PM with overtime available $25-30/hr based on experience\n\nsalary: $52,000 - $61,000 per year\nshift: First\nwork hours: 7 AM - 3:30 PM\neducation: High School\n\nResponsibilities\n\nSet up, operate and maintain various CNC machines (lathes, mills, grinders)\nRead and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, CAD files and specifications\nSelect appropriate cutting tools, inserts, and work holding based on material type and part requirements.\nProgram CNC machines and prepare setup sheets, sequences, including machining parameters (speeds, feeds, depths of cut) to ensure optimal tool life and product quality.\nPerform quality checks to ensure compliance with specifications\nDesign and machine fixtures, cutting tools and attachments as needed\nCut and shape metal according to specifications\nTroubleshoot and resolve machining issues to minimize downtime\nTrain and assist operators in machine operations and part quality control\nMaintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols\nCollaborate with team members to improve production processes and efficiency\nMonitor and maintain inventory of materials and tools\n\nThe essential functions of this role include:\n\nworking in a smoke free environment\nwearing steel toe shoes\nworking in a non-temperature controlled environment\nmanual lifting up to 25lbs\nstanding for 8 hours at one time\n\nSkills\n\nCNC\nTrimming\nSetting\nMoving Material\n\nQualifications\n\nYears of experience: 3 years\nExperience level: Experienced\n\nRandstad is a world leader in matching great people with great companies.
