Current schedule is Wednesday‑Saturday but it is subject to change at any time.\nPosition Summary Aldevra is currently seeking a qualified Senior Construction Representative to support the US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) by performing Construction Management Services (CMS) at the Barkley Lock and Dam in Kuttawa, KY. The Senior Construction Representative will provide on‑site construction inspection and quality assurance (QA) support for a major turbine generator rehabilitation project. The Senior Construction Representative will ensure contractor compliance with contract requirements, safety regulations, and USACE standards.\nDuties and Responsibilities Perform daily QA inspections of complex construction activities, materials, and workmanship for compliance with plans, specifications, and safety standards.\nMonitor and document contractor Quality Control (QC) program, including reviewing daily reports and ensuring compliance with the USACE 3‑phase QC process.\nParticipate in technical meetings, progress reviews, and safety discussions; provide input on risk management and Activity Hazard Analysis (AHA).\nReview submittals, as‑built drawings, and progress payment requests; maintain updated project records and documentation in RMS.\nTrack and report deficiencies, RFIs, and corrective actions; assist with punch list verification and final inspections.\nPrepare daily QA reports, correspondence, and recommendations for acceptance or rejection of work.\nMentor junior staff on technical and QA processes.\nEnsure compliance with EM 385‑1‑1 and OSHA regulations.\nAll other duties as assigned.\nSecurity Requirements Must be able to obtain CAC clearance.\nThis position requires passing an extensive background check.\nQualifications 15+ years of construction experience, including QA/QC inspections and compliance verification.\nKnowledge of USACE safety and quality standards.\nOSHA 30 Certification required; CQM and First Aid/CPR (can be obtained within 60 days).\nValid driver’s license and ability to work flexible shifts.\nExcellent verbal communication skills and telephone manner.\nExcellent and accurate written communication.\nFamiliarity with Windows operating systems; online calendars and cloud systems; intermediate to advanced skills Microsoft office products required.\nExcellent attention to detail; accurate data entry.\nCustomer focused and team‑oriented work ethic.\nAble to multi‑task efficiently and accurately, focusing on quality.\nBenefits Medical, Dental and Vision.\nShort Term and Long-Term Disability.\nLife Insurance.\nPaid Time Off.\nEmployee 401(k) with company match.\nProfessional Team Environment.\nAldevra is an equal‑opportunity, E‑Verify employer, drug‑free workplace, and complies with ADA regulations as applicable.
