Transdev’s Autonomous Specialist’s are critical to the success of delivering safe autonomous driving systems to our customers, enabling a revolutionary mobility experience.\nThis role is the backbone of daily operations, primarily focused on depot work. L-1 associates are responsible for servicing fully autonomous vehicles, preparing them for driver testing missions, and performing asset management and cleaning tasks. Additionally, they provide in-field event response when needed to ensure smooth operations.\nThis position serves as the foundation for building essential knowledge of our Autonomous Vehicle Fleet. By continuously developing skills and demonstrating proficiency in key responsibilities, you'll be prepared for advancement into Autonomous Vehicle operations and other technical roles within our structure.\nKey Responsibilities:\nOperate/Drive van/truck or other car, (assignment may be alone or with a co-driver) five days a week; able to sit still and stand for long periods of time;\nCapable of responding quickly to changing and potentially high-pressure environments;\nResponsible for gathering, lifting and transporting heavy computer equipment of up to 50 pounds\nInstall equipment and ensure it starts successfully\nComplete duties in a timely manner while adhering to schedules\nComplete daily reports and documents\nAssist with simple vehicle adjustments and settings while cars are parked.\nSet up cars for charging and maneuver cars in parking lot\nDisinfect cars, work stations and prepare sanitization kits.\nMaintain Transdev’s high standard of safety, inside and outside of the vehicle;\nWork mostly individually but also in small groups of 2-10 people;\nBe the deputy for vehicle launch and preparation\nCommunicate any uploading errors while also focusing on high priority uploads.\nPackage and ship equipment needing repair.\nAssist with asset inventory/checkin/checkout process\nResponsible for pushing shift efficiency (Fast Startup)\nBasic troubleshooting at shift startup.\nEnsuring startup and shiftend checklists are being followed.\nDemonstrating continuous development and proficiency in the above key responsibilities in preparation for advancement into Autonomous Vehicle operations and other technical roles\nAll other duties as assigned\nRequired Education and Experience:\nHigh School Diploma or GED required. Four-year college degree (preferred) in a related field like industrial or applied sciences;\nMinimum of 3 years of experience driving on public roads.
