Sorting Specialist - 1st Shift
Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable individual to join our team as a Sort Specialist. This hands-on role ranges from assembling small precision metal components, to performing basic visual checks for quality, and preparing parts for shipment to customers. Production DutiesPerform visual inspections of precision-turned metal parts to verify conformance with part specifications and quality standards and pack finished parts for customer delivery.Utilize hard gages (e.g., plug and ring gages) to inspect precision-turned metal parts and assess suspect inventory for customer delivery.Accurately complete production and quality records as requiredMaintain consistent production and inspection rates while adhering to all quality requirements. General ResponsibilitiesFollow all standard operating procedures and company processes.Remain vigilant about potential safety hazards or violations; promptly report concerns to management.Ensure compliance with OSHA, DEC, EPA, and other applicable regulations.Proactively contribute ideas for process and quality improvements.
