We are growth focused and believe that a positive working environment is critical to our success.\nCurrently we are recruiting Process Supervisors for our Sterling Heights facility. The Process Supervisor’s primary responsibility is to ensure safety, quality, productivity, and housekeeping in assigned areas. Ensuring all policies, procedures and work instructions are utilized and adhered to by team members. Responsible for meeting the company’s goals, objectives and key measurables set yearly. Reports functionally to the Plant Manager.\nResponsibilities\nOver-all manpower allocation for hourly employees.\nMonitor and make the necessary adjustments with manpower at start-up, during shift and at the end of the shift ensuring optimum earned hours are achieved.\nEnsure proper initial set-up and continuous monitoring of assigned presses.\nInitial set up include correct raw material and related components (for assembly when required).\nPackaging (returnable containers or carton).\nCorrect pallets.\nWork Cell (complete)\nEnsure all process parameters are met to manufacture parts to the quality standards including first piece approvals and last shots.\nSchedule and direct hourly employees to production presses in manner that insures continuous support & flow in the molding bay for all production activity.\nSchedule setup for production jobs for the oncoming shift to insure a smooth transfer of production activity between shifts.\nAll production parts subjective to disposition must be addressed prior to shift ending or directly thereafter.\nEnsure that all hourly employees receive adequate training required to perform their job responsibilities with supporting documentation.\nEnsure Plan vs. Actual requirements are obtained, report downtime to above reporting structure.\nFollows all safety, housekeeping, and company policies and procedures.\nCoordinates and maintains all job responsibilities in a continuous and flexible manner and performs other related duties and assignments as required.\nISO 14001 awareness training.\nEducation/Experience\nHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED); some college or technical education (classes in management, supervision, or manufacturing processes.
